My name is Goofy, and yes, I'm as delightfully silly as my name suggests! My foster parents initially called me Macaron, but that's far too serious for a fun-loving pup like me. I absolutely adore playing with people and my many doggie siblings. We have a blast with toys and zoomies in our big backyard. I'd love a family that enjoys outdoor adventures, whether it's a brisk walk or a good run – I'm your loyal companion, always by your side! I've also mastered some fun tricks, including "give me kiss," which is a personal favorite. I know "sit," "lay down," "shake," "jump-up and dance," and "go to bed." I'm even learning to wait for my food, though I'm not the biggest fan of that! I'm a quick learner and eager to master even more with you. While I'm a cuddle bug once I'm comfortable, I can be a bit nervous around new people. With a little time and gentle introductions, my true, goofy self shines through.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a patient and loving home that will help me gain confidence. I'm generally good with other dogs and am very cat-friendly, having lived with three cats previously! While I haven't lived with children, I haven't shown any issues with them. I do get nervous if left alone for too long, but I'm crate-trained and can manage for reasonable periods. I'm also not a fan of swimming, but I tolerate baths!

Ongoing Health

I'm up-to-date on my vaccinations, heartworm preventative, and flea/tick preventative. I will also be spayed/neutered and microchipped before adoption.

Training & Support

I know several commands like sit, come, paw, and down, and I'm working on a "place" cue. I'm very comfortable using pee pads and will go outside in a quiet space. Consistent reinforcement of commands will be helpful as I transition to a new home.
