Rocky

My name is Rocky and I'm a sweet and affectionate 4-5 year old male Border Collie x Siberian Husky mix. I'm a big, fluffy boy, weighing just under 70 lbs, and my foster mom calls me a real "gentle giant"! I was rescued by Herding Haven from a shelter in Utah after being found as a stray. While I adore the snow, my thick undercoat means I don't do well in the heat, and melted snow (water) isn't my favorite either! I have a low to moderate energy level. A nice walk and a short play session are perfect for me, after which I'm happy to chill by your side on a comfy dog bed, or even better, the couch. I get along well with other dogs and am great with people.

Ideal Home

Because of my size, I would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children (8 years and up) as I might accidentally knock over smaller, younger ones.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations.

Training & Support

I'm a smart boy and already know how to "sit," "shake," "roll over," and "lay down." I am house-broken, know how to use a doggy door, and don't need to be crated as I'm not destructive.
