Murray is a handsome 4-5 year old boy with a giant heart, a playful spirit, and an obsession with plush toys. He was rescued from a life of neglect and is now ready for a future filled with love and happiness. Murray loves people, lounging in the sun, zoomies, and most of all, his plush toys. He can be quite protective of his treasures, so he would do best in a home without other dogs or with a canine companion who respects personal space. Murray generally gets along well with other dogs and is currently being fostered with two Dane sisters. However, he can be a bit overwhelmed by cats and would likely do best in a home without them. Murray adores people of all sizes, but due to his enthusiastic play style, he would be best suited for a home with older children. He is an absolute gentleman at home and is trusted to roam freely while his foster parents are away. Murray loves being outdoors and will need a secure, sturdy fence. He also enjoys adventures and walks, and while he does well with a Gentle Leader, he can be strong-willed without one. Murray is making wonderful progress in his training, is highly motivated by food, and has never shown food aggression. He has reached a healthy weight and is feeling better than ever, ready to find his forever family.
Ideal Home
Murray needs a home with a secure, sturdy fence. He would do best in a home without cats. Due to his enthusiastic play style, older children are recommended.

Training & Support
Murray is learning to sit and patiently wait for treats. His love of food makes him highly motivated to learn. He has never shown food aggression toward humans or other dogs. He can be strong-willed on walks without a Gentle Leader.

Murray is being fostered in Pensacola, FL. All approved adopters are required to pick up the dog in person from his foster parent's home.
