She has all the traits that make heelers so incredible—loyal, eager to be involved in everything you do, and always ready for the next adventure. Roo is estimated to be 4 months old and weighs 19lbs as of July 10th.
Ideal Home
Roo needs an experienced cattle dog owner with an active lifestyle, providing plenty of exercise and enrichment. She requires a fenced yard and would not do well in an apartment. A playful, energetic dog companion would be a huge bonus for her. She is not a good fit for first-time dog owners.
Ongoing Health
Roo is house-trained and fully crate-trained. While she isn't a fan of going into her crate, she settles down quickly once inside and does well. She is not destructive when her physical and mental needs are met.
Training & Support
Cattle dog experience is required due to her intelligence and drive. She would absolutely thrive in a home with another playful dog who can match her energy, as this helps keep her engaged and provides an outlet for play. Someone committed to continuing her training and helping her reach her full potential is essential.
