Zap

Zap is a 6-month-old male Miniature Schnauzer mix, weighing about 13 pounds. Behind those timid eyes is a sweet boy who's just waiting for someone to show him that the world isn't so scary. Zap came to us unsocialized, so many everyday experiences are completely new to him. Fast movements, unfamiliar people, and busy environments can be overwhelming, but with patience and kindness, he's slowly beginning to realize that he's safe.

Ideal Home

Zap would thrive in a calm, structured home with an adopter who understands that trust isn't built overnight. He isn't looking for perfection—he's looking for someone willing to let him move at his own pace and celebrate the little victories along the way.

Training & Support

Zap is still learning how to navigate the world and needs a patient adopter who can help him build confidence. He is kenneled with other dogs and takes comfort in having canine companions around him. Any new dog friends should be respectful and willing to give him the space he needs.
