Bethany

Bethany is a wonderfully unique and sweet girl who found herself in need of rescue due to what were initially thought to be growths on her sides. After a vet visit, it was discovered that these "growths" are actually her ribs! Bethany has scoliosis, causing her spine to curve in an S-shape. It's truly remarkable to see her thriving as an adult, as this condition is often seen in puppies who don't survive. Aside from her distinctive shape, Bethany is in excellent health. She's not in any pain, is an active and playful dog, and absolutely loves her walks.

Ideal Home

Bethany would do best in a home that can help her thrive. Her spine should be monitored closely, as any back injury could be more serious due to her condition.

Ongoing Health

Bethany has scoliosis which affects the shape of her spine. While she shows no other signs of health issues and is not in pain, her spine should be watched closely to prevent any potential injuries.

Training & Support

Bethany is friendly towards people and has shown she is good with large, male dogs. As with any dog, continued positive reinforcement and clear communication will help her continue to be a well-adjusted companion.
