Nova

Nova is the full package...outgoing and friendly with people, kids, and dogs! Nova seems to be a mix of possibly an Australian shepherd or border collie and possibly lab. She's the perfect size at just over 50 lbs, not too small and not too big. She lives to play with her doggy pals or soak up all the attention from humans. She is a quick study and is learning all the good doggy manners from her wonderful foster, who just so happens to be a dog trainer!

Nova was an owner surrender whose owner didn't have time or a yard for her and kept her kenneled most of her adolescence. She's now thriving in her foster home with space to be a dog, doggy pals to play with, and also getting time and attention from her humans. She is food motivated and will do anything for a treat! She has shown zero reactivity to other dogs or people, even when other dogs are reactive towards her, which just showcases her wonderful temperament.

Ideal Home

Nova's play style with other dogs is rough and rowdy, so if there are other dogs in the home, we think it would be best if they were on the same level as her so she doesn't overwhelm them.

Ongoing Health

Nova is now fully vaccinated and was spayed and microchipped this week.

Training & Support

Nova is learning good doggy manners from her foster, who is a dog trainer. She is food motivated and eager to please.
