ANGUS-Big Puppy

Meet Angus, a big, goofy puppy who's ready to remind you to play more and work less! Angus was found wandering near a local creek with his sire and brought to the Hico Animal Shelter. He's since been vetted and is now looking for his forever home.

Angus is a neutered male Bullmastiff mix puppy, around 6 months old and already tipping the scales at over 60 lbs. He's bound to get even bigger as he matures, but for now, he's a playful pup learning the ropes. He's a work in progress on leash, enjoying a good chew, and eager to play with other dogs, though his size can be a bit overwhelming for them. He's a bit too much for cats.

Ideal Home

Angus would thrive in an active household with older children. A well-fenced yard is a must for this growing pup.

Ongoing Health

Angus is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies and bordatella), and heartworm negative. He is microchipped and on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives.

Training & Support

Angus is doggie door trained, but housebreaking is still a work in progress. He's learning to walk on leash and can be a bit chaotic if not properly restrained in a vehicle. Patience and consistent training will be key to helping him succeed.

Angus is located in Hico, Texas. We use trusted, reputable transport services to deliver our dogs to their new families if they are located outside of Texas.
