Hot Potato is pure puppy energy in motion! He's a bold, goofy, and endlessly entertained five-month-old with a "life is a game and I must participate in all of it" mindset. Toys, people, shadows, leaves – everything is exciting, and he meets it all with enthusiasm and zero hesitation. He's the puppy who keeps things lively, turning an ordinary moment into something funny just by being himself.
He loves people deeply, greeting the world like it's his long-lost best friend. Hot Potato is wiggly, expressive, and full of joy, with no concept of personal space in the most endearing puppy way. After his bursts of play, he's just as quick to flop over and demand belly rubs, settling into complete happiness once he's in your arms or at your feet. There's a big heart behind all that energy; he isn't just chaotic for the sake of it, he's social, affectionate, and eager to connect. He wants to be involved, included, and part of the action. With consistency and structure, he will grow into a fun, loyal, and incredibly engaging companion who keeps life active and full of laughter.

Ongoing Health
All vetting is up to date including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test.
Training & Support
Hot Potato is currently being assessed and worked with by trainers on staff, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking, to help prepare him for his future family.

Transporation
Hot Potato is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
