The name’s Ace. I'm young, I'm deaf, and I'm rocking this whole “mysterious gentleman with a soft squishy face” thing like it’s a lifestyle. Because it is. Being deaf just means I live life in silent movie mode with extra dramatic flair and double the facial expressions. I won’t hear your compliments, but I will absolutely accept your snacks and belly rubs like royalty. I use my eyes and nose to take in the world. While it might take me a minute to warm up to new people, once I do, I’m all in. I’m talking goofy wiggles, toy parades, and nap-time snuggles. I’m still a young pup so I’ve got energy and silliness to spare. I’d love a home that understands that deaf dogs just do things a little differently. I’m working on my training with positive reinforcement, and I’d love someone who’s patient, consistent, and fluent in hand signals (or just really enthusiastic charades). I like other dogs fine, as long as they know how to respect boundaries. You give me space, I give you zoomies. Fair trade. Cats? Unknown. Let's keep it a mystery novel for now. And tiny kids? Probably not ideal. I’d do better with older kids (10+) who understand that I need a little extra time and a lot of gentle understanding.
