Bubba Bear is an approximately 3-year-old, 60 lb dog who we believe might be a Black Lab and Pittie mix. He has the sweetest, most gentle demeanor, with a face that will instantly bring a smile to yours. Bubba is a calm and easy-going companion who enjoys simply relaxing nearby and becoming your quiet shadow. He's not one for boisterous play but enjoys the peaceful coexistence with other animals. He approaches new situations and people with a thoughtful, observant nature, taking his time to adjust before fully engaging. Once comfortable, he shows his affection with gentle head nudges and polite paw offers. He's a low-maintenance boy who thrives on quiet companionship and brings a sense of peace to any home.
Ideal Home
Bubba would thrive in a calm home that matches his mellow personality. He is more of a homebody and would be happiest in a residential neighborhood with a fenced yard, where he can enjoy a predictable routine and a peaceful environment. Apartment living or life in a busy city would likely not be his ideal match. He would do best with another calm, mellow dog who shares his laid-back outlook. He has also done well with cats.

Bubba is crate trained, but prefers not to be crated alone and settles better when he can see his family or canine friends nearby. Bubba is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
