Benny

Benny is a handsome 6-year-old, 94-pound boy who came to us as a stray, so his history is a bit of a mystery! He's ready to find his forever family and is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program, allowing you to see if you're a perfect match before making a permanent commitment. Benny is a sweet and gentle giant, but he's a big boy and may accidentally knock over smaller children, so a home with kids aged 8 and up would be best. He'd also enjoy sharing his home with a calmer canine companion and would love for any resident dogs to meet him first to ensure they hit it off. We're unsure how he'd do with cats, but slow and supervised introductions would likely set them up for success.

Ideal Home

Benny would do best in a home with children 8 years or older. He would also enjoy the company of a calmer dog, so please bring any resident dogs to meet him. Introductions to cats should be slow and supervised.

Ongoing Health

Benny's adoption fee includes his spay/neuter, current vaccinations, and microchip. He's an adult dog with no known health issues. As with any pet, it's important to be prepared for potential medical needs that may arise after adoption.

Training & Support

Benny is a big boy, and while he's sweet, he may accidentally knock over smaller children. He also hasn't lived in a home environment before, so patience and understanding will be key as he adjusts. As with all pets, we recommend slow introductions to new environments and companions to ensure a smooth transition.
