Meet Athena! This sweet 4.5-year-old, 30-pound girl is past the puppy stage but still full of fun and ready for adventure. Athena is an affectionate and cuddly companion who adores her people. She's a smart cookie, knows her basic commands, and is very food-motivated, making her eager to learn and enjoy having a "job." She's also leash and muzzle trained, which means she'd be a fantastic candidate for exciting activities like scent work, rally, agility, or other canine sports. While Athena can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, with a little patience, her loving personality shines through, and she'll become your devoted shadow.

Ideal Home

Athena is looking for a home where she can be the star of the show, as she's become uncomfortable living with other female dogs. A home with no other dogs, or possibly a compatible male dog after a proper introduction, would be ideal. Due to her high prey drive, she cannot live with cats. We also recommend a home with children aged 10 and older.

Ongoing Health

Athena is already spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and she's all set to find her forever family.

Training & Support

Athena is a smart and eager learner. Continuing with positive reinforcement and engaging her with activities she enjoys will help her thrive.
