Rocky is a charming 6-year-old, 90 lb gentleman who was found abandoned in Houston, TX. He's already neutered and vaccinated, and he's heartworm negative. Rocky is a friendly, sweet, and easy-going dog with a low-energy demeanor. He enjoys leisurely leash walks and is well-behaved both inside and outside the crate. Rocky is house-trained and loves to relax indoors.

Ideal Home

Rocky is looking for a best friend who can dedicate time to taking him on the longer walks he truly enjoys. Because of his past experiences with food scarcity, Rocky can be protective of his food and should have his own designated bowl and eating space. He's accustomed to large dogs, especially females, and gets along wonderfully with them. He is also good with cats and not reactive towards them.

Rocky is neutered and vaccinated, and he is currently heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Rocky is crate-trained and house-trained. He does well indoors but may need continued guidance on food guarding behaviors to ensure he has his own secure space for meals.
