Kelso

Kelso is an absolutely wonderful dog who truly deserves a second chance at a happy life. He was adopted as a puppy, and we all thought he had found his forever home. Sadly, just before Christmas, he was unexpectedly abandoned at a veterinary clinic. Thankfully, we were able to bring him back into our care.

Despite his past heartbreak, Kelso remains an incredibly sweet and resilient companion. He has a proven track record of getting along wonderfully with children, other dogs, and even chickens! He is also house-trained and crate-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and has a generally easygoing nature. Kelso greets everyone he meets with enthusiasm and knows his basic commands, making him a true joy to be around.

Kelso loves a good walk, enjoys relaxing indoors or outdoors, but his absolute favorite thing is simply being with his people. He isn't demanding; he just craves a loving family who will commit to him and never let him go again.

Ideal Home

Kelso has lived successfully with young children, other dogs, and chickens, so a home with a variety of companions could be a great fit.

Ongoing Health

Kelso is neutered, up to date on all his vaccines, microchipped, and has tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Kelso is house-trained and kennel-trained and walks beautifully on leash. He knows his basic commands and is a joy to have around.
