Zelda

Zelda is a sweet and spunky Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix, about 9 months old. She had a very tough start, as she was attacked by a pack of dogs and found injured. Her right front leg was broken in two places, and it was necessary to amputate it. Despite this traumatic experience, Zelda is an incredibly resilient girl and has made a wonderful recovery. She has shown no grudge against the other dogs in her foster home and is now active and playful.

Ideal Home

Zelda is looking for a loving home where she can continue to thrive.

Ongoing Health

Zelda's right front leg was amputated due to a severe break. She has recovered well from this procedure. She has current vaccinations and has been spayed.

Training & Support

Zelda is already crate and car trained and walks well on a leash. Her foster mom notes she is initially shy but quickly warms up.

Transporation

Zelda is currently being fostered near Ramah, NM on highway 53. She can be transported within the Four Corners area, and transport can also be arranged to other states.
