Rye would thrive in a home that enjoys playtime, walks, and a bit of structure. While he could adapt to apartment living with sufficient exercise and enrichment, a house with a yard would be his dream come true. Rye is up-to-date on all his vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention. He's ready for his new life with a clean bill of health.

Training & Support

Rye can get a little jumpy when excited, but he's learning quickly that sitting earns more praise. With a little polishing, he'll be a master of manners! He also needs some work on his leash skills, as he can be a bit eager when walking, but he responds well to corrections and loves treats, making training a rewarding experience. He's a young dog with a curious spirit and will do best with an adopter who enjoys engaging him in activities.

Rye is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations across the US and Canada. You can track your pet's journey in real time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
