Chardonnay

Chardonnay is a sweet mama ready for her own family! She did an amazing job raising her six babies and now it's her turn to be showered with love and attention. She's a young adult Retriever and beagle mix, approximately 3 years old and weighing about 26 lbs. Chardonnay is shy when she first meets new people, but she warms up quickly and becomes incredibly sweet. With a little bit of training, she'll be the perfect companion. She loves other dogs and we're happy to discuss integration techniques if you have cats or kids.

Ideal Home

Chardonnay needs a home with a confident resident dog to show her the ropes and help her feel more secure.

Ongoing Health

Chardonnay tested positive for heartworms but has been treated and has completed her recovery period. She will need to be kept on a monthly heartworm preventative to ensure her long-term health.

Training & Support

Chardonnay is working on her house training and crate training. She'll benefit from continued positive reinforcement and patience.
