Meet Rac! This handsome Husky mix, weighing in at 62 lbs and born around March 11, 2023, is a bundle of outgoing energy and pure joy. His name comes from the adorable raccoon-like markings around his eyes, which only add to his charm! Rac absolutely loves playtime with his doggy pals, engaging in zoomies and enjoying interactive games with his foster dad. He's also a big fan of long walks and exploring new places. While getting into a car might be a little hesitant at first, once he's riding, he embraces the adventure! Rac can be a bit shy initially, but with a little patience and love, he blossoms into a devoted best friend.
Rac's journey began during a harsh winter freeze where he lacked shelter. A kind neighbor had been feeding him, but couldn't bring him inside. Thankfully, his foster dad learned of Rac's plight and brought him to safety. He even spent some time with a trainer to help him adjust to indoor living after his time on the streets. Rac is now thriving in his foster home with his doggy siblings, showing he's a bit too energetic for feline friends. His foster dad describes him as incredibly sweet and always eager for attention.

Rac would thrive in an active household that enjoys hiking and outdoor adventures. He'd love to have playful canine companions and plenty of opportunities to cuddle with his loved ones.

Rac is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Rac is kennel and potty trained. He has been trained to be an indoor resident and is doing great!

Transporation
Rac is located in Houston, Texas. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can be arranged to various locations, including nearby towns and states. We coordinate with third-party transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. Adopters can track their dog's transport using the Life360 app and will receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for transport tracking.
