Zumi Cutie is believed to be a pittie mix, approximately 2 years old, and weighs 52 lbs. As with any rescue, breed and age can be a mystery, but his gentle nature is no secret! When Zumi first meets new people, he's a bit shy, but it doesn't take long for him to lean in for affection, slowly inching his way into your lap. He's a distinguished gentleman, showing his love with gentle nudges and quiet closeness, never overwhelming you with affection but always willing to offer more if you ask. His inner puppy shines through when he's with loved ones, turning him into the happiest, wiggliest guy imaginable. Coming home to that kind of greeting every day would surely make you feel like the most important person in the world!

Zumi is wonderful with children, even as young as four years old. He handles the energy of little ones with calm patience, never fazing him. He doesn't jump up or demand attention, instead keeping all four paws on the ground and gently leaning in for affection when he's ready. He takes treats softly and shows a natural understanding of how to be respectful around young children, blooming into a steady, affectionate companion who would fit perfectly in a family home. He's the kind of dog who brings a loving presence and grows into a deeply loyal best friend.

He is very dog friendly and has done great with all dogs introduced to him. Zumi has a gentle play style, enjoying bouncy romps and occasional wrestling matches. He's respectful of dogs who don't want to play and is content to chill outside or relax inside on dog beds. Zumi is located in Texas. Transport is available nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
