Meet Storie! This sweet girl, estimated to be around 3 years old and weighing approximately 45 lbs, had a very rough start. She was found abandoned in an alley during freezing weather, but thankfully, a kind foster has taken her in. Despite her past, Storie is incredibly friendly towards people and seems to adore children. We believe she has a lot of scarring on her head and neck from superficial wounds, and she also has two fractured teeth that will need to be extracted. She's otherwise in good health and ready to leave her past behind. Storie is a bit reactive towards other dogs, so she would be happiest as the only pet in her forever home. She's currently in a foster home and is in urgent need of a foster or foster-to-adopt placement where she can feel safe and settled. Let's give Storie the happy ending she deserves – there's so much more to her Story!

Ideal Home

Storie would do best as the only pet in the household, as she can be reactive towards other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Storie has scarring on her head and neck from superficial wounds and two fractured teeth that will need to be extracted. All other health concerns will be discussed at the time of inquiry.

Training & Support

Storie shows reactivity towards other dogs and would benefit from a home where she can be the sole focus.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Must be over the age of 24 to adopt.
• Resident pets must be spayed/neutered.
• The adoption process includes a reference check, a veterinarian reference, and a home visit.
• Adoption fees are $300 for dogs.
• All pets are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and micro-chipped.

Transportation

Storie is located in the Columbus area and cannot be transported outside of this region.
