Milky Way is a charming Chihuahua boy weighing about 8.6 lbs, born on January 10, 2026. He's a playful, happy, and social little guy who loves to run and be involved in everything. Milky Way is generally quiet, but his sweet personality shines through. He's friendly with dogs, children, men, and women, making him a great potential addition to many households. He sleeps in an open crate at night and sees it as his safe space. Like many young dogs, he's curious and enjoys chewing, so he'll need patience and guidance as he matures. Milky Way and his siblings were born into a difficult situation where their care became a burden, and their future was uncertain. Thankfully, he was rescued and is now looking for a loving, stable forever family to give him a lifetime of devotion.
Ideal Home

Ongoing Health
Milky Way has received the following health protocols: Spay/Neuter Certificate, 2 DHPPI Vaccines, Rabies Vaccine, Bordetella Vaccine, Deworming, Microchip, 4DX Test and Certificate, Negative Heartworm Test Certificate, and monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra. He also comes with a Health Certificate and Vaccine Booklet. Please note that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period due to past trauma and may not be house-trained.
Training & Support
Milky Way is not house-trained and will need patience and guidance as he matures and continues to chew. It's crucial to provide a safe and loving environment, establish a routine, and offer patience and understanding during his adjustment period to help build trust and a strong bond.

Transportation
Milky Way is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. He is available for transport to the East Coast of the US on our next cross-country trip. A one-time transport fee of $400 USD covers door-to-door delivery. Our transport process includes scheduled trips (3-4 per year), a partnered transport company, comprehensive paperwork (Transport Contract, USDA Health Certificate, health protocol certificates), cross-border transport, and real-time updates via a private Facebook Messenger group. The transport team will conduct a final home review upon delivery.
