Vida

Vida is a sweet 10-year-old, 65.8lb German Shepherd mix who is looking for a loving home to spend her golden years. She was a cherished companion to her previous owners and their children for her entire life, but unfortunately, they had to move to a pet-free residence. While Vida can be a bit reserved and may bark when first approached at the shelter, she truly blossoms on walks and enjoys her time outdoors. Her past indicates she was very loving and protective, and we believe she would do best in a home with older children, as she hasn't been introduced to younger ones since arriving.

Ideal Home

Vida would thrive in a home where she can build trust and feel secure. Due to her initial standoffishness with new people, a home with older children would be the most suitable environment for her.

Vida has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Vida is a very smart girl and already knows several commands, including sit, down, stay, come, shake, and roll over. Her favorite toy is a ball, which can be a great way to bond with her. Building trust with new people will be key to her continued happiness.
