My name is Whit, but you can call me Whitney because I will always love you! I'm 5.5 years young and I absolutely adore people, including respectful children. When it comes to cats, I'm selective. Cats who are mindful of my personal space are easily ignored, but if another cat doesn't respect my boundaries, I might chase them once or twice to let them know I have important personal space rules. I'm also selective with dogs. Big dogs terrify me, especially if they're overly boisterous. Smaller dogs (40lbs and under) are generally fine, as long as they also respect my personal space. I set hard boundaries at first, but if they're listened to, I'm good to go! I'm an A+ leash walker and I love going for strolls. My favorite things are plush toys that are my size, and I also love digging into blankets like lightning to burrow underneath them for a cozy sleep. I was homeless for the first five years of my life, so I'm still learning the ropes of house living, but my foster mom says I'm a fast learner because I'm so smart. She even says I'm smarter than her own dogs, which is probably why I'm first in line for breakfast every morning because I. Am. Awesome. I snuggle in bed with my people all night and I take meals in my crate like a champ. I'm pretty sure I was a pony in a past life because I trot all over the yard like one, making my foster mom laugh and laugh. I don't like it when people try to remove one of my limbs, but I LOVE car rides, snuggles, and being close to my people. I'm totally vetted and freshly dentaled, and I'm ready for my forever family. Ideal Home
A home that understands my need for personal space, especially with other pets. I do not do well with overly boisterous large dogs.
