Meet Blue Gem Shepherds. Welcome to Blue Gem Shepherds, a small, experienced German Shepherd breeder located in Florida’s panhandle. I have been working with German Shepherd Dogs since 1982, with decades of hands-on experience in breeding, training, and canine behavior. My background includes recognition from the Okaloosa Kennel Club, where I received Obedience Handler of the Year and a Humanitarian Award (1989–1990). These honors reflect a lifelong commitment to responsible dog ownership, training, and ethical breeding practices. I specialize in both long-coat and short-coat German Shepherds, with an emphasis on sound temperament, intelligence, and versatility as family companions. Puppies are raised with care and early socialization to support confident, stable development. German Shepherds from Blue Gem Shepherds are known for their loyalty, intelligence, and adaptability, making them excellent family dogs. On occasion, pure white German Shepherd puppies may be available. Prospective owners are encouraged to research the breed thoroughly and ask questions. A deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Puppies do not leave before 8 weeks of age, in compliance with Florida State Law, and each puppy is examined by a licensed veterinarian and provided with a health certificate.
