Marlee

Meet Marlee! This young pit bull has a quiet, thoughtful presence and a heart that is just starting to open. With her striking white coat and light eyes, she turns heads, but it's her gentle spirit that really stays with you. Marlee is deaf, but you'd never know it slows her down! She is incredibly observant and already shows how tuned in she is to people, watching closely and learning through body language and connection. She may take a moment to assess new situations, but once she feels safe, her curiosity and sweetness shine through. When Marlee first arrived, she stood nearby simply watching, taking in the world around her, especially other dogs and people interacting. It was clear she wanted to be part of it, and each day she grows a little more confident stepping into that space.

Ideal Home

Marlee would thrive in a consistent, calm environment. She needs an adopter willing to use visual cues and positive reinforcement, and someone who sees her not as having special needs, but as simply special.

Ongoing Health

Marlee is currently being cared for in rescue while we also address some skin sensitivities, and she's doing great with support.

Training & Support

Because of her deafness and ongoing care, Marlee will thrive in a home that is patient, understanding, and excited to communicate with her in new ways.
