Petunia is ready for her new home! This sweet girl is a 1.5-year-old Corso who can be a bit shy with new people and in unfamiliar situations, but she's a dream once she trusts you. Petunia has a past of abandonment and being locked in a car, so she truly needs some love and reassurance that her humans will always be there for her. She's a big girl with a playful spirit and loves to snuggle, especially when snacks are involved!
Ideal Home
Petunia thrives in a home with another dog, as a canine companion helps her feel safe and comfortable. She enjoys playing with dogs who understand she can be a bit boisterous and might not realize her own size. A quieter home environment is best, as she can be overwhelmed by a lot of visitors. While she can be a bit shy initially, she does warm up and enjoys a good play session. Homes with older children should be fine, but little ones are not the best fit for her. She seems to be potty trained once she gets into a routine.

- We cannot hold animals more than 7 days after approving an application.
Transporation
Petunia is currently in a foster home. Adopters are required to come to the foster home to meet her. We cannot ship or transport animals.
