Petite Boxer, black mouth cur, young, Clarence & Elf

Sweet, young, and petite Boxer/Black Mouth Cur mix puppies Clarence and Elf were rescued on Christmas Eve from Apple Valley Shelter when they were just three months old. These Christmas Eve rescue sweethearts are incredibly kind, loving, funny, and eager to learn. It would be amazing if they could find their forever home together!

Apple Valley Shelter closes down between Christmas and New Year's, and any animals left behind can face euthanasia. We rushed to rescue as many dogs as we could, and were so surprised to find these beautiful, sweet babies with smiles, ready to party! They are very smart, fun-loving, and ready for their new lives. Clarence and Elf each have their own fabulous personalities; one is a little more laid-back, while the other enjoys the playful energy typical of puppies.

Ideal Home

Clarence and Elf are looking for a home that can provide them with a wonderful life plan, including time for simple obedience training and all the joys that come with raising puppies.

Ongoing Health

Clarence and Elf both came down with kennel cough, a common ailment among shelter dogs. They were immediately quarantined with other rescue dogs and puppies.

Training & Support

These pups are doing amazing on their leash training and are bouncy and fun when playing. They are very kind and sweet, often snuggling up together when resting.
