Lonnie - Butler Campus

Lonnie is a curious and affectionate female pit bull terrier mix, around adult age. She's a bit of a shadow, happiest when she's in the same room as her people or with a canine friend. Lonnie has been making wonderful progress in her foster home, starting to wag her tail and even ask for pets. It's been a joy to watch her slowly realize that people can be kind. She's discovering that gentle head scratches feel pretty nice, and she's becoming braver about being walked on a leash. Lonnie loves to chew on bones, relax with her doggy buddy, and show off how smart she is. She's also almost fully potty trained and is non-destructive in the home! Lonnie is still a little shy, especially with new friends, but with each passing day, she gains a little more confidence. Underneath her cautious exterior is a cute and curious girl with so much potential. With a patient and kind family, she's going to blossom into the sweetest companion.

Ideal Home

Lonnie would thrive in a home where she can be close to her people. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well with a canine friend.

Ongoing Health

Lonnie is up to date on her vaccinations, has been spayed, and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Lonnie is almost fully potty trained and is non-destructive in the home. She is still a bit shy with new people and will need a patient and kind family to help her continue to build her confidence.
