Mindy

Mindy is a delightful 7-month-old Shepherd/Boxer mix puppy, weighing around 30 lbs with a projected adult weight of 50 lbs. She came to us as a stray, found dirty and hungry, and initially shut down in the shelter. Thankfully, her foster mom saw her potential and brought her into our care. Mindy has transformed from a timid pup into a happy-go-lucky girl who absolutely loves cuddles, belly rubs, and human attention. Being in a home is a dream come true for her, and she's blossomed with love, fun, and cozy naps. She adores her squeaky toys, especially her prized rubber chicken, and would have a blast with an owner who enjoys playing fetch with her. In return, she'll offer unfailing love, following you around and seeking pets.

Ideal Home

Mindy would thrive in a home with older children and no cats. She would not be suitable for apartment living. She also does well with other dogs and looks to them for guidance.

Ongoing Health

Mindy has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is on heartworm prevention. The adoption donation of $275 covers her spay, three rounds of puppy vaccines, a rabies vaccine, microchip with registration, dewormer, and a single dose of heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Mindy is crate trained and potty trained. As a puppy, she will require patience and continued training to become the best companion she can be.
