Meet Polly, a delightful 38lb Cattle Dog Retriever mix who embodies the spirit of a playful puppy with the sweetest personality. She's already spayed, vaccinated, and up-to-date on all her preventatives, making her all set for her forever home. Polly has a gentle, go-with-the-flow nature and loves being a part of whatever her humans are up to.
Ideal Home
Polly is a forever puppy at heart! She absolutely adores toys and enjoys playing with other dogs, bringing a happy, bouncy energy to playtime. She's also been around children aged 6 and up and has done well with them. While she loves to play, Polly is actually a pretty low-energy dog overall and is just as happy to relax and cuddle as she is to engage in a game of fetch. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly once she feels safe. She should be crated when unsupervised, as she can sometimes get into things if left loose.

Training & Support
Polly has great house manners and is fully house trained and crate trained for up to six hours. She does well in the car and has no issues with resource guarding or food aggression. She is currently working on her leash manners and may pull sometimes, but she's easy to manage while she continues learning. Like many young dogs, Polly is still figuring out some of the rules of home life and will need a patient adopter who is willing to keep guiding her. With consistency and routine, she'll continue to blossom.

Polly is currently with our rescue partners. Transports run every few weeks and she will be on the next available transport once approved.
