Jurgen

Jurgen is a sweet, silly, and goofy young dog, estimated to be between 10-14 months old as of October 2025. He's a handsome blend of German Shepherd and Great Dane with a smile that will melt your heart! Jurgen absolutely loves to play and is always happy, especially when he's got a playmate. He's great with other dogs and could entertain them for hours! He's also friendly with cats and paid them no mind when in his foster home. Jurgen is house-trained with no accidents in our care. He's also very well-behaved when left unsupervised and uncrated during the day, choosing to sleep instead of causing any mischief. He has never destroyed anything and is a true gem. Jurgen is a master cuddler and loves to be right by your side, whether it's bedtime or just relaxing on the couch – he loves to be the little spoon! Belly rubs are his favorite, and he knows basic commands, patiently waiting before gently taking a treat. He hasn't shown any signs of resource guarding with food or toys. Jurgen can be protective of his home and people, a trait that comes with his loyal nature.
