Meet Ringo! This one-year-old Australian Shepherd mix is a bundle of love looking for his forever home. Ringo is incredibly affectionate and thrives on being by your side, truly a "Velcro Aussie." He's a smart and eager learner who enjoys adventures and playtime, but his favorite thing in the world is cuddling up with his favorite person. Ringo gets along well with other dogs and has successfully lived with another dog and a confident cat. He also does well with children when given slow, respectful introductions. While Ringo is up-to-date on vaccinations and enjoys car rides, he does occasionally exhibit heel-nipping behavior towards teenagers, which appears to be related to his herding instincts. He also may bark a bit when visitors arrive but settles quickly.

Ideal Home

Ringo would thrive with an adopter who appreciates the intelligence, loyalty, and devotion of Australian Shepherds. He would be happy as an only dog or with a compatible canine companion.

Ongoing Health

Ringo is up to date on vaccinations. There is a $20 microchip transfer fee.

Training & Support

Ringo is potty trained and sleeps through the night. He has excellent recall and is eager to learn. He may exhibit some heel-nipping behavior due to herding instincts, and he may bark for a few minutes when visitors arrive, but he settles quickly.
