Carmilla

Carmilla is an adventurous and athletic 5-year-old Doberman mix who weighs about 50 lbs. She was found as a stray near the airport in Houston and has since been living in a foster home in the country, where she's discovered a love for rural living. Carmilla enjoys the outdoors and has been exposed to horses and chickens. She was treated for hookworms and heartworms and is now testing negative. She has scars on her head and her front teeth are worn down, suggesting a history of chewing on things. Carmilla's body also shows signs of having had puppies before.

Carmilla would thrive in a home that embraces her adventurous spirit. She prefers action-packed activities over quiet nights in and enjoys exploring the outdoors.

Ongoing Health

Carmilla has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She was previously treated for hookworms and heartworms and is now testing negative for both.

Carmilla is house-trained. Her past suggests she may benefit from chew toys to satisfy her need to chew.
