Petunia is a sweet, gentle, and peaceful 7-year-old Plotthound who weighs 38lbs. She has soulful eyes and a kind smile that radiates warmth. Petunia had a challenging start in life, arriving a bit thin, meek, scared, and downtrodden. However, she's made a remarkable turnaround and is now a joy to have around. She's a calm lady who moves at her own pace. When you're seated, she'll gently rest her chin in your lap, seeking comfort in your presence. Petunia can sometimes feel a bit overwhelmed in doggy playgroups, but we believe she'll warm up to them as she settles into her new normal. She is definitely dog social. Petunia has a soft, gentle aura, is easy to walk, and finds comfort in simply being near her person. She's never pushy or overbearing and is as lovely on the outside as she is on the inside. Petunia is currently with her daughter, Pansy, an 8-month-old who looks and acts very much like her mom. We encourage you to come and meet Petunia and Pansy!

Ideal Home

Petunia thrives in a calm environment where she can relax and be near her person. She is dog social, but is currently a little overwhelmed in doggy play groups.

Ongoing Health

Petunia arrived a bit thin, but is now at a healthy weight. She has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Petunia is easy to walk and manage. She is learning to adjust to social situations and may need continued gentle encouragement to feel comfortable in doggy play groups.
