Dodger is a large, adult male dog described as a "busy boy" with a heart of gold. He's been with the rescue for almost three years, patiently waiting for his forever family. Dodger is good with cats and can be good with other dogs, but he benefits from slow introductions and a strong leader, or he might prefer to be the only dog in the home. He's also known to prefer staying home with his people over trips to the dog park.

Dodger would love a busy family who can keep up with his energy. He's looking for a family who enjoys hiking, biking, running, and swimming. If you understand the Belgian Malinois breed, you know that physical exercise alone isn't enough; Dodger needs mental stimulation too! Activities like doggy puzzles and using a weighted backpack are great ways to keep his brilliant mind engaged.
