Moonpie is believed to be a cattle dog mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 34 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue dog, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.
Ideal Home
Moonpie has spent time around a cat and, while she can start off calmly, she ultimately finds cats a little too interesting and engaging. For this reason, we are recommending a home without cats.

Training & Support
Moonpie is a smart girl and treat motivated. She already knows some basic commands such as sit, is easy to walk on a leash, and she is crate and potty trained. Any future additional training you want to do with Moonpie will be so easy with her. She would be a great companion to have around if you work from home because she is quiet, has shown to have great house manners, and will just snuggle up on the couch and snooze while you get your work done. She would also be a great little adventure buddy as well. She loves to explore and is honestly just happy being anywhere as long as she is with you.

Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page! Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
