Some dogs demand attention the moment they walk into a room. Selma isn't one of those dogs. Instead, she's the quiet little gem waiting patiently for someone to notice just how special she is.
This beautiful brindle girl weighs a perfect 45 pounds and has an easy, medium-energy personality that makes her a joy to be around. She loves spending time with her canine friends in the play yard and is the kind of dog who gets along without any fuss or drama. She's playful when it's time for fun, but never over the top.
Selma is fairly new to the shelter and has sadly gone unnoticed so far. Maybe it's because she's not the flashy show-off. Maybe it's because she's not getting herself into trouble. She's simply a good girl—sweet, steady, and content to quietly wait her turn.Some might overlook her in favor of a louder personality or a more attention-grabbing face. We think they're missing out. Selma's beauty shines through in her gentle spirit, kind eyes, and easygoing nature. She's the dog who slips into your life so naturally that before long, you can't imagine how your home ever felt complete without her.

This cutie pie has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home. She's also sharing her shelter suite with a friend she met at the shelter. To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
