Cowgirl

Meet Cowgirl! This pretty pup is estimated to be 1-2 years old and has an adorable speckled nose. She is incredibly sweet and bursting with energy, ready to find her forever home! Cowgirl has already had quite the journey. After her previous owner went to jail, she and her brother were saved by a local rescue partner, and MPP stepped in to help find their ticket out of Texas! Cowgirl is the life of the party! She absolutely loves running, playing, and getting into some roughhousing with her doggy pals during group play. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she can sometimes get a bit too excited during playtime, so she needs a friendly and social dog friend sibling who can help her learn the ropes.

Ideal Home

Cowgirl would thrive in a home with a friendly and social dog who can help her learn play boundaries. Due to her exuberance and as she is still learning, a home without young children or elderly individuals is recommended, as she may unintentionally knock them over.

Training & Support

Cowgirl is extremely motivated and trainable. She is currently working on her jumping and leash skills and would benefit greatly from some general training. We believe she'll level out and become the perfect companion once settled into a loving home. It’s crucial for her to find a forever family soon so she doesn’t become stressed or develop any bad habits.

Transportation

Cowgirl is currently in a shelter-style foster in Texas and would love to be in a home setting ASAP! Transportation may be available to approved adopters.
