Zuri

Meet Zuri, a delightful 1.5-year-old MexiMutt weighing in at 9 lbs. Zuri was found in a terrifying situation, alone and scared on a busy avenue. Thankfully, she's blossomed in her foster home and discovered a love for playful romps with other dogs. She's a confident little lady who knows her worth and won't be pushed around, but it's self-respect, not aggression!

Ideal Home

Zuri would do wonderfully in a home with other dogs, or as an only dog with a person who appreciates her confident spirit. She is good with children who understand how to respect a dog's space and belongings.

Ongoing Health

Zuri has received her spay/neuter surgery, core vaccines (DHLPPi, Rabies, Bordetella), flea/tick/heartworm treatment, deworming, and comprehensive blood work and health tests including CBC, blood parasite tests, and parvo/giardia/coronavirus tests. She also received grooming and a microchip.

Training & Support

Zuri is not yet 100% housebroken, but with consistent training, most dogs from outdoor backgrounds adapt within 1-2 weeks.

Applications to adopt Zuri start by contacting us through Wags.

• Complete our online application at www.bapbr.org
• If we determine there's a good fit, a phone interview with director Angela will be arranged.
• We will arrange the flight to Oregon (included in the fee) and send periodic photo/video updates.
• You will pick up your new family member at the airport, pay the adoption fee, and receive medical records.

Transporation

Zuri is currently in Guadalajara, Mexico. Once an adoption is approved, she will fly to Portland, Oregon (PDX), with most dogs arriving within 2-4 weeks after approval, depending on flight availability. Transport to Portland, Oregon is available.
