Zella

Meet Zella! This sweet 3-year-old, 22-pound Terrier mix is a true gem. She's incredibly gentle and loving, with a personality that's sure to capture your heart. Zella gets along with everyone and everything, making her a fantastic addition to almost any family, whether you have other pets, children, or are just looking for a devoted companion. She's also a well-mannered girl who is house-trained, knows how to use a dog door, and is comfortable in her kennel. Living with Zella is a joy due to her calm and affectionate nature.

Ongoing Health

Zella has completed her heartworm treatment and is on the road to recovery. She is expected to test heartworm negative at her six-month recheck.

Training & Support

Prospective adopters must be committed to providing housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming, and positive socialization.

• The adoption fee is $150, which includes spay surgery, rabies vaccination, DAPP vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, deworming, heartworm testing, microchipping, and a leash and collar.
• We verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, and veterinary references.

Transportation

Zella is currently in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process. We do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.
