Cyrano is a very special pup who is a real sweetheart. He is absolutely a "velcro" dog and loves his humans immensely. He has learned to play with toys and to sit for treats by following his foster sister, Duchess. While he enjoys playtime with his doggie friends, his favorite pastime is being a couch potato, snuggled up next to his foster parent. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Houston, where he was a staff favorite who kept him alive. Cyrano is very loving, extremely loyal, affectionate, and adorable. He is also very smart and sensitive, well-behaved, quiet, calm, and obedient. He likes to please and hardly ever barks.
Ideal Home
A home with a fully fenced yard is mandatory. He needs parents with a big heart who will cherish him as their baby.
Ongoing Health
Cyrano is 2 years old and weighs 61 lbs. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and is on ProHeart 12, which provides a year of heartworm prevention. His adoption fee of $400 covers all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high-quality nylon Martingale collar, and harness.
Training & Support
Cyrano is an extremely well-behaved, quiet, calm, and obedient dog. He likes to please and hardly ever barks.

Transporation
Cyrano is currently being fostered in Houston, but can be transported anywhere, as long as it's the best home for him. Transport fees out of Houston can range from $150 - $350 depending on the destination.
