Loki

Loki is a shy but incredibly sweet boy who is blossoming as he learns what a loving home feels like. He forms strong bonds quickly and is a true "velcro dog" who just wants to be close to his person. He's already showing us his affectionate side and is craving the security he's never known.

Like his companion Boomer, Loki is still adjusting to home life. He's learning to trust and needs leash walks until he feels completely secure, even with a privacy fence. Having spent too long roaming free, he's still understanding the concept of containment. He's making progress with crate training at his own pace and is working through some separation anxiety, so creating a safe and secure environment for him is key. Loki is a gentle soul who handles well and is eager to learn how to be a wonderful companion. He and Boomer are showing us daily that they are worth the patience and love it takes to help them find the forever homes they deserve.

Loki is doing well and has no current major health concerns.

Training & Support

Loki is working on leash training and understanding containment. He is also experiencing some separation anxiety, so consistent reassurance and a predictable routine will be beneficial.
