About Cosmo

Cosmo is a very sweet, gentle, and loving 4-year-old boy who weighs about 80 lbs. He has bonded with his friend Mandy and would absolutely love to be adopted with her. Cosmo can be shy when he first meets new people, but once he gets to know you, he becomes very bonded and will shower you with affection. He can be a little wary of strangers and may bark, but he shows no aggression. He's eager to learn and would benefit from training that helps build his confidence. Cosmo enjoys car rides and would do best with a family that can give him plenty of one-on-one attention. He also loves going for walks and walks nicely on a leash. Cosmo is very people-focused and truly wants to please.

Ideal Home

Cosmo would do well in a home with children 10 and up due to his size. He is good with other dogs but has not been tested with cats.

Ongoing Health

Cosmo has EPI, which is easily managed with digestive enzymes. We will show his new adopters how to administer them, and he is currently doing well with this treatment. He is neutered, heartworm negative and on prevention, and up to date on shots. He is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Cosmo is house and crate trained. He is eager to learn and would do well with training to help build his confidence.
