Meet Kipster – Your Adventure Buddy with a Side of Sass!
Kipster, or Kip as his friends call him, is a 41-pound pup with a big personality and an even bigger love for adventure. Born on 9/11/2019, Kip is a natural leader who enjoys exploring the great outdoors. He's great with kids and some dogs, but when it comes to his food, he prefers to have his space. Kip loves zooming around, being outside, kibble, toys, football, and even banjo music! He's also quite athletic and has a talent for climbing, which means he needs a secure, tall fence to keep his adventurous spirit contained. His foster mom says he's calmed down a lot and is learning to listen better, and she believes he would thrive in an active home with someone who loves the outdoors.
Ideal Home
Kipster would thrive in an active home with someone who loves the outdoors. He absolutely requires a tall, secure fenced yard; chain link fences will not hold him back.
Ongoing Health
Kipster is eligible for our “Senior Dog Adoption Reimbursement Program”! We offer a maximum of $300 per year for the life of the animal to cover wellness exams, annual vaccinations (including Bordetella), and heartworm prevention. The adopter is responsible for taking Kipster to their veterinarian for all services. Once paid, adopters can submit copies of their receipts for reimbursement.
Training & Support
Kipster can be a "door dasher" and loves to explore, so a secure yard is essential. He has been calming down and is starting to listen better, but continued positive reinforcement will help him succeed.

- Adoption Fee: $95.00
- Transport Fee: $205.00
- Health Certificate Fee: $25.00
- Your adoption fee includes a full medical health check, up-to-date vaccinations, current heartworm and flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter, and microchip.
- A fenced yard is required and will need to be verified. Invisible fences are not accepted.
- A veterinary reference for previous and current pet owners is required. If you don't have previous vet history, you'll need to purchase a 3-month supply of heartworm prevention from our vet.
- If you rent, landlord verification of pet acceptability and any restrictions is needed.
- Since meet-and-greets aren't possible, decisions for homes with other dogs/cats are at the discretion of our adoption team.
Transportation
Kipster is currently in Rossville, TN. Information regarding transport can be found at wags.com. The transport fee is non-refundable within 2 days of departure, and the health certificate fee is non-refundable after the exam.
