Mondo is a stunning, active Australian Shepherd mix who is 5-6 years young and weighs around 50-55lbs. Don't let his age fool you; he's a happy, playful guy who loves to be on the go! Mondo has a beautiful charcoal grey coat with a white belly and spotted legs. He's up-to-date on all his shots, is heartworm negative, and has been microchipped. Mondo is both potty-trained and crate-trained, and he enjoys the company of other medium to large-sized dogs, both male and female. He's very food-motivated and loves a good game of chase in the yard! While he enjoys cuddling on the couch for movie time, Mondo is definitely not a couch potato or an apartment dog. He needs regular exercise like walks, hikes, or camping trips to stay happy and well-behaved. He's a smart and agile boy who knows basic commands and is eager to learn more.
Ideal Home
Mondo would thrive in an active home where he can be included in daily life. He needs a yard with a secure fence (no tie-outs or electric fences) and plenty of space to run and play. He can be an only dog or live with a canine companion, as long as he receives regular exercise. Mondo can also live with a family with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person, as long as he's an active part of their lives. He is NOT an apartment dog and should not be left in the yard without interaction.

Mondo is up-to-date on all vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Mondo is potty-trained and crate-trained. He knows basic commands but is not yet trained for off-leash activities. While he had issues with fence climbing at a previous shelter where he didn't receive regular exercise, his current foster home has had no such problems due to his increased activity. He rides well in the car without anxiety.
