My name is Bear, and I'm a handsome 3-year-old Rottweiler mix weighing around 90 lbs. I'm a big boy with an even bigger heart, and I'm searching for a patient and understanding family to help me find my forever home. Life has changed quite a bit for me recently, and I'm still learning how to navigate it all. I came to rescue when my previous owner experienced medical issues and could no longer care for me and the other large dogs on the property.

Ideal Home

I am looking for an adult-only home where I can feel safe and secure. Because I can be a nervous guy, especially with fast movements or when I feel restrained, I need adopters who are skilled at reading dog body language and are willing to let me build trust at my own pace. My goal when I get stressed is to simply get away from what's making me uncomfortable.
