Meet Baker! This sweet boy is an estimated 10-pound pup, born around May 19, 2024. Baker arrived at a Texas shelter as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery. He can be quite shy and sensitive, as he may not have always had the kindest experiences. New people and environments can be a little overwhelming for him, and he needs time to feel safe and build trust.

Baker is a clever boy and has already mastered using a dog door! When things are calm and quiet, he enjoys gentle pets and affection from those he trusts. He's showing great potential to be a loyal and devoted companion with the right care.

Ideal Home

Baker is looking for a patient and understanding home. He would do best in a home without young children, where someone is around much of the time to help him adjust and gain confidence at his own pace.

Baker's adoption fee includes his spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.

Training & Support

Baker is still learning and may need continued training and patience as he adjusts. As with any dog transitioning to a new home, house-training habits may vary, and consistency will be key.
