Meet Cinch! This sweet boy is looking for a very special person to share his life with. Cinch is a dog who takes a considerable amount of time to warm up to new people. Until he feels comfortable, he prefers his space and isn’t afraid to make that clear. Even offering him a treat can be tricky, as he may be more inclined to go after the hand than the snack.

However, with patience and understanding, Cinch can become your most loyal companion. He recently made a breakthrough with his foster mom, who has been visiting him for some time. By giving him space, never pushing interaction, and letting him set the pace, Cinch eventually decided she was "good people." This was a huge milestone for him!

Once Cinch trusts you, he is all in and absolutely adores his foster family, including his foster siblings, both cats and dogs. He is not the dog for someone looking for an instant connection. He is the dog for someone willing to invest the time, celebrate the small victories, and allow him to show you his true, wonderful self when he is ready. Those victories are truly worth it.

Cinch would thrive with an adopter who is local to the Ronan area. This would allow for multiple visits to his foster home, giving Cinch the time he needs to build trust before going to his forever home. He needs someone who understands that trust is earned on his timeline, not ours.
