Sammy is a handsome 7-year-old German Shepherd with classic looks and a delightful prance! While he's a senior pup, don't let his age fool you – Sammy still has plenty of spunk and enjoys bursts of playfulness. He's a loyal and smart companion who will give you 100% of his love. Sammy can be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly once he knows you're a friend.

Ideal Home

Sammy would do best as the only dog in his new home. He's leash-reactive to other dogs, so a securely fenced yard is a must for exercise and potty breaks. This makes him a perfect match for someone who prefers not to do dog walks! He'll likely be most comfortable in a quiet environment, and would do well in a home with older children (12 years and up) or no children.

Sammy is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Sammy is house-trained. Given his leash reactivity, continued positive reinforcement training and managing his environment to prevent stressful encounters with other dogs will be key to his continued success.
